and what we don't.

FireOTT.in (“we”, “us”) is a streaming-rankings website operated from India. The FireOTT iOS app is a shell that loads this same website. This policy explains what is collected when you browse, sign in, or subscribe, and how to delete it.

What we collect

You can browse FireOTT without an account. If you choose to sign in, we store your email address and an account ID so we can keep your watchlist, votes, playlists and streaming-service preferences in sync across devices. Sign-in is provided by Supabase. You can use an email code, or Google when that option is shown on the sign-in page. We receive the email address and account identifier from that provider. We do not receive your Google password.

When you are signed in, your watchlist, the titles you vote on, the playlists you create, and the streaming services you pick for Watch Now are stored in our Supabase database against that account. Before you sign in, a watchlist may stay only in your browser. Display preferences, if you set any, stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.

If you subscribe to Pro on the website, payment is handled by Stripe. We keep your subscription status and a Stripe customer ID, never your card details. The iOS app does not sell subscriptions and does not open checkout.

Account deletion

Signed-in users can delete an account from Account → Delete account, on the website and in the iOS app. Deletion removes the Supabase login and profile, and the watchlist, votes, playlists and settings attached to them. If a Stripe subscription exists for that customer, it is canceled. You can also email fireottsupport@proton.me and ask us to delete the account. Deletion does not affect records a payment provider is required to keep for tax or fraud prevention.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in the Google advertising privacy policy. Where required (for example for visitors from the EEA/UK), a consent message is shown before personalized ads are served. Pro memberships on the website are ad-free.

Analytics and logs

Our hosting provider (Vercel) collects standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to operate and secure the service. We do not sell visitor data or account data.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links (for example to Amazon.in) may be affiliate links. They don't change your price; the merchant may pay us a small commission.

iOS app and new-drop alerts

The FireOTT iOS app is a shell that loads this website. If you turn on new-drop alerts, the app sends a push token to OneSignal so we can deliver one notification after new titles are added (Tuesday and Friday). That token is a device identifier used only to send those alerts. We do not attach it to your account, and we do not sell it. You can turn alerts off in iOS Settings → Notifications → FireOTT. The app does not ask for your location.

Third-party sites

Links to streaming platforms and other external sites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies. Supabase, Stripe, Google (sign-in and AdSense) and OneSignal process data only for the purposes described above, under their own policies.

Children

The site is a general-audience content guide and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
